Touch Camille Claudel
Nogent-sur-Seine, France
The Musée Camille Claudel is dedicated to the french woman sculptor. For pedagogical and inclusive purposes we designed manipulable objects to assist the mediators to explain the various method to reproduce sculptures.
In the entrance of the museum is proposed a tactile orientation map composed of the three stages of the museum. The whole design of the map is conceived to be accessible for visually impaired people. It is also readable for sighted people.
The 3D objects are along with the tools used by the sculptor.
The mobile furniture allows to move the object in the whole museum, the content is meant to be touched and manipulated by disabled people, children and almost everybody.
