Living in public spaces

Nantes, France

A set of five posters and an 80-page leaflet captured teenagers' voices about their experiences as young men and women in public spaces. The exhibition traveled across the city of Nantes, serving as a platform for talks and conferences to raise awareness about feminism, harassment, safety, spatial dynamics, and many other topics relevant to these working-class areas.

Inspired by torn posters found on the streets, this project has been deeply fulfilling on a human level.
Engaging with residents of these neighborhoods and immersing myself in their daily lives outside of their homes was both instructive and profoundly beautiful. I will always remember the trust these teenagers placed in us by sharing their intimate stories and feelings.
