Living in public spaces
Nantes, France
Set of five posters and a 80 pages leaflet retracing teenagers' words about their position as young men and women in public spaces. The exhibition traveled in the whole city of Nantes and was a support for talks and conferences to raise awareness towards feminism, harassement, safety, spatiality - and many more subjects - in these working-class areas.
Inspired by ripped posters from the street, this project has been very fulfilling humanly. By meeting the inhabitants of these neighborhoods and get involved in the way they live their everyday, outside-of-the-flat, life was instructive and beautiful. I will never forget the trust these teenagers gave us by sharing their intimate stories and feelings.
